| I must say, I was apprehensive to stay at this hotel due to past experience, but this time my stay at Ramada Plaza was great and satisfying right from beginning at check-in till check-out. Staff was courteous. The hotel was so clean. The room was nothing other than luxary. No complaints at all.
The biggest benefit was Restaurant and Bar in the hotel. The food was delicious and even I enjoyed couple of drinks at the bar. I was told that there is going to be Starbucks Coffee parlor in couple of months.
There was no problem with Aircondioners or Hot Water per comments left by other travellers. The hotel was probably half full.
On questioning, I was told the hotel recently changed hands. Under new ownership and management, the hotel has improved a lot. I did not see any hotel guests complaining.
The staff was amazing.
I hope the hotel does not increase their rates, otherwise it is pretty good deal, located in downtown, it is so convenient and there is ample parking.
I was in Macon attending a conference at the local hospital. Other attendees shared the same experience at the hotel.
Roof top pool is an added benefit.
There is exercise room for those that are so health-concious. |

| The hotel was well kept, but underutilized. Any deficiencies are directly associated with the lack of demand for rooms in the area. I cannot fault the hotel for the lack of activity in downtown Macon. It is a shame because the hotel and downtown could both be grand places and it appears the City is moving in that direction by supporting residential and mixed uses, but who knows whether this hotel will survive to see a renaissance in Macon. |

| I stayed at this hotel because I was taking the PE test for Georgia and this hotel was the closest to the testing site. This hotel has a lot of potential that they are not taking advantage of. I did not have any hot water and there was no cable in the hotel. For convenience it was a great hotel, but the quality was lacking. |

| Its not the best hotel in Georgia, but probably on par for Macon. There isn't a better option. I gave it a 3 for comparison to normal hotels. For macon hotels it may be a 5 if that is all you ever knew. We stayed there for a night before the PE exam. The hotel people were really nice and helpful. |

| I stayed at the Ramada Plaza last year, but this year I was disappointed. First, the hotel did not have any cable. Second, Maintenance was covering the front desk and we had to wait at least ten minutes for someone to check us in. |

| The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The hallways were musky and needed airing out. Was not a good situation for a person (like myself) with allergies.
For the price, I expected more. The walls had stains and needed to be painted. The overall view of the lobby is beautiful but the restaurant ceiling needed to be replaced and or painted and the rooms did not match that impression. |

| I was disappointed with this hotel. The bedsheets, pillowcases and towels had spots on them and looked as if they were not properly cleaned. The room was a very small corner room and not very comfortable. I could not even enjoy the pool because it was dirty! There were ants all around the sitting area near the pool. I guess the hotel would be okay for overnight travelers and/or brief business stays if you don't care about amenities or comfort. |

| Very nice hotel for the money. The furniture was a bit worn and rustic looking but did not take away from the room. The room was kept clean and the bed was rather nice with higher quality linens. The free wireless internet was also a big plus. I would definitely stay there again. |

| My room was decent-sized and clean, valet parking was convenient and prompt. Only problem was that I ordered breakfast using the doorknob tag left in my room, and it never came. When I called, they said they'd never received the ticket, but were very prompt in bringing my order at that time. No discount was afforded for the inconvenience. |

| I was concerned with the mold that was on the vents in all the areas of the hotel. Also, the ceiling tiles over the shower were falling. Mold was on them, also. We are not allergic, but realize others are and felt this might be a real problems for a person with allergies. It is also somewhat disconcerting to view.
But, the hotel was very clean otherwise and the hotel personnel were very courteous, helpful and fun. |
